Ken Guthrie

If you need a reason to live in California, Ken can give you thousands. Born and raised in L.A., Ken Guthrie is a UC Davis alumnus and has lived in California most of his life. The only time he left his beloved state was during his service in the Marine Corps.

For over 25 years, Ken worked as a General Contractor before he became a real estate agent. This experience gives him an advanced understanding of residential construction, which he puts to use in advising both new and experienced homebuyers.

Ken uses his strong organization skills, understanding of computers, and marketing expertise to successfully manage the overall operation of the Guthrie Group

Libby Guthrie

For a first time homebuyer, Libby Guthrie is a saving grace. Libby began her career as a real estate agent after working for over 16 years in the mortgage banking industry. Because of this experience, she can answer any questions you may have about loan programs, the escrow process, and any other aspect of a real estate transaction in California. This understanding has allowed her to confidently advise first time homebuyers and become one of the top real estate agents in the area.

A graduate of University of Tennessee, Libby has been a California resident since the 1970’s.

Mary Kay Mooney

Mary Kay Mooney joined the Guthrie Group over 8 years ago. Along with being a licensed real estate agent, Mary Kay is primarily the team’s transaction coordinator.

Clients love Mary Kay’s enthusiasm and dedication to see that all transactions go through correctly so that their home can close on time – an important job to be sure!

Wendy Shearer

Wendy Shearer grew up in a military family and, in turn, moved around the country a lot. This is one of the reasons why Wendy loves to hand the keys over to homebuyers when they purchase their first homes. She really understands how important it is to be able to have a home of your own.

Wendy has been a real estate agent for over 8 years and serves as the president of the local WCR (Women’s Council of Realtors).

Scout

While Scout doesn’t have her real estate license, she is an integral member of the Guthrie Group. She handles all necessary retrieving and is the only team member who is allowed to sleep on the job.
